Data science is the oil of the future II

Discovering the future, in this essay, I will discuss an important topic called data science. Data science became more popular since 2015.
I think data science is one of the future jobs and data science will help the countries world improving the status of economic. In this essay, I will talk about what is data science, what are the skills a data scientist needs, and why data science is one of the future jobs.

The first time I hear about data science when I had started my a trip on learning programming. Data Science is a field that interested in studying data in the past and present to predict the future. Data Science is one of the fields of artificial intelligence

Haider defined a data scientist as " data scientist as someone who finds solutions to problems by analyzing big or small data using appropriate tools and then tells stories to communicate her findings to the relevant stakeholders" (Haider, 2015, p.46).

I think a data scientist must have hard skills in math, programming, and machine learning. Udacity reported a data scientist must have strong skills in programming tools, data visualization and communication, statistics, data wrangling, and Machine Learning. He should have good skills in software engineering and Multivariate Calculus and Linear Algebra (Nelson, 2018).

There are three reasons why data science is one of the future jobs:

• First, there are several universities around the world have been creating bachelor and master data science programs.
  For example, Michigan University offers bachelor and master of data science in another hand, it offers an online master degree which will start in September 2019.
• Second, the data scientist has been named the best job in America for three years.
  In addition, IBM reported, "by 2020 the number of positions for data and analytics talent in the United States will increase by 364,000 events, to 2,720,000". The global demand is even higher "(Ahuja, 2018, para.). As such the New York Times reported: "the base salary for data scientists as $ 112 000" (Haider, 2015, p.39).
• Third, every business today need to data science team to improve their business. For example, Facebook, Amazon, and Netflix use recommended system technology to improve their business.

 In conclusion, the data scientist has been named the best job in America for three years for two main reasons. I think if the Middle East gives enough interest filed of data science, it will help them solve a lot of the problems in education, health, and other problems.
